Especially for asbestos work, the suit is a proven choice due to its Type 5B certification. Standards and protection performance Type 5B (EN ISO 13982-1): Protection against airborne solid particles such as asbestos, glass wool, or other fine dusts Type 6B (EN 13034): Limited protection against liquid splashes, for example when using cleaning or disinfecting agents EN 14126: Protection against biological hazards such as viruses and bacteria EN 1149-5: Antistatic – suitable for use in explosive atmospheres Use with asbestos For activities such as asbestos remediation, particle-tight protective clothing according to Type 5B is required. The ProSafe® 2 fully meets this requirement and protects the wearer from hazardous, respirable fibers released when handling asbestos.
